Over his career, he has founded, acquired, scaled and exited several aerospace and space-adjacent companies, including executing turnarounds of distressed assets and building a portfolio of companies generating approximately €50 million in aggregate revenue and €5–6 million of EBITDA prior to partial exits to private equity. José brings deep technical, commercial and operational expertise and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and post-acquisition value creation.

At Space Gate Capital, Mehul leads financial due diligence on prospective investments, develops LBO models and value-creation plans, and works with portfolio company management teams to implement financial infrastructure, including budgeting processes, working capital optimization, and margin-enhancement initiatives. He supports companies through add-on acquisitions, refinancing, and exit preparation, translating complex financial analysis into actionable operational strategies that drive the Fund's buy-and-build playbook and portfolio returns.
